Hello Single Life!

Today blog is dedicated to the lovely single ladies not only of the Big Shoe (my slogan of NYC), but all across the ocean and seas. Single -unmarried or unattached, now my definition; Single - happy, exciting, and experience. Today a lot of us especially the female species , believe that if we are not in a relationship by 25 it's a mid life crisis or that something is wrong with us, and if not married by 30 it's the end of the world. We watch shows like Girlfriends, Sex in the City, and The Hills , and see that being in our mid 20's and 30's that more women are successful, beautiful, and more opinionated. Ladies, wake up; this is 2010 we don't need a man to fulfill us just to be our partner in crime. Last week, Tasha B and myself were both watching a sermon by Joel Olsen and he referred to us to learn to patiently wait. As a 25 year old woman, I have come to realize that even though I am still young!, but I am still getting older?! I look at my challenges with men is just a way for me to breakdown the men I been with, and analzye them to learn what I like and don't like. So all you lovely ladies that feel like it's the end of the world because your single; EMBRACE! SHOP! and SEEK! prince charming is only a few minutes away, but a few months and probably years from being mr. right! So take your time and enjoy the single life signing out !

Highs and Lows

In browsing other blogs I noticed that many people go the route of illustrating different outfit ideas in one way or another. I played around with the idea of doing something similar but did not want to fall into the trap of the "typical" fashion posts. After much consideration I realized a blog is just a collage of your thoughts and ideas and should be a reflection of your personality. To know me is to know my love for fashion so in saying that I will be adding posts that I call "Highs and Lows" where I will showcase how to mix high end items with lower priced items (not necessarily low quality items). Stay tuned!

Due Date: July 2010

Ok guys, so with this move I was unable to do my annual birthday gift to self. I was more focused on furniture and home decor ( I still am but just not as much). However, despite being sidetracked (aka tapping into the fund) I am back on point. My baby, Chanel 2.55 (I think I will call her Sheeba) is due to enter my world in July. Patiently waiting!!!!

Valentines Day

hello lovers, singles, and couples this is the holiday which is the holiday of love. Men run to the store to get their wives, girlfriends, Baby mothers, or even their mistress the gifts that they will love and remember for a long time. Fridays episode of Wendy Williams she had the host of the Millionaire Matchmaker on Bravo speaking about love, relationships and a successful marriages. On this Valentine Day, I think that we need to actually love ourselves this year! As for a single Valentines day I never came to dread the lovely dovey expressions that float in stores, on homes, and even in schools. When growing up I seen Valentine day not only a day for love of others, but of yourself. I believe that we should work hard on self love. When feeling down, look in the mirror and tell yourself "GOD is love, I am Love, and Love is Us". When you seem to love yourself their is nothing else to love, and don't let Valentines Day be your only reason to be happy for love, but everyday! So have a rejuvenating, expressive, and wonderful Valentines Day.
